Q. What are the limitations of this process?

A. Deeply engrained dirt and deeply stained or rotted wood need to be sanded or replaced.  Cupped or warped boards need to be sanded or replaced, both of which we can do.  We can closely or exactly match the color of sanded wood with the surrounding floor..

Q. What does our contractor's license mean for me?

A. It protects you from inexperienced and undercapitalized contractors.  All licensed contractors are bonded and can obtain insurance.  The California Contractors Licensing Board can provide any comments or complaints registered with them.

Q. How long does it take to have my floors refinished?

A. Normally it is a day and a half, with the floors ready to walk on the evening of the second day.

Q. If you do a light sanding or spot sanding, does dust end up everywhere?

A. We have a dust containment system which minimizes the amount of residual dust.
